The Westchester Seniors Golf Association was founded in 1927 “by a group of golfers looking to promote the game through friendly competition” at clubs in the Westchester and Southern Connecticut area. The WSGA funds this scholarship in collaboration with the MGA Caddie Scholarship Fund for an eligible and deserving caddie scholar from the Westchester area. This scholarship was originally named for Mr. Rudy Machacek, the WSGA’s long-time Tournament Chairman. The current recipient is Julian Thur who attends UCONN, Storrs.
