ELMSFORD, N.Y. (August 21, 2023) – The 15th Annual MGA Caddie Scholarship Fund Golf Marathon took place at Siwanoy Country Club on Monday, August 21.
Forty-five players participated in the event at Siwanoy, marking the second largest field in the history of the event. The event began with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun and concluded at 5:00 p.m. followed by a cocktail reception. Collectively, the golfers played 2,965 holes (a new all-time record) to generate donations and pledges for the Fund.

“The Golf Marathon is hands down the best day on the MGACSF Calendar,” said the Manager of Caddie Scholarship Funds, Jackie Kielty. “There are several factors that make the Marathon incredible, such as, the tremendous grass roots fundraising and the resilient and excessive rounds of golf. But most importantly, it’s the sense of community between the players. It is an exciting mix of club members, directors, caddie managers, and alumni that all come together to bring the Marathon to life.”
The golfers raised over $227,000 dollars on Monday! The total will grow as the pledges are calculated and additional funds are collected. There is still time to donate to your favorite team or players HERE.
