This fund was established in 2008, the first of the CSF’s endowed programs. Lee and Nancy Paton have been active officials at WGA, WMGA, USGA and LPGA competitions for many years. Nancy has served as President of the WMGA, has served on the USGA Women’s Mid-Am Committee and was Chairperson of the 2005 USGA Senior Women’s Amateur. Lee served terms as President of both the WGA and the CSF and was presented with the Udo Reinach Award of Distinction in 2014.
Awards from this fund are primarily for those in service to golf at The Apawamis Club. The current beneficiary is Tiernan Clarke, who attends Thomas College in Maine.
