BRONX, N.Y. (September 14, 2023) – The 2023 MGACSF Friends of the Fund Invitational was on Thursday at Bally’s Ferry Point.

Close to 30 friends of the fund took to Bally’s Ferry Point for a round of golf for the event’s ninth edition.
“It was an incredible day of golf accompanied by an even better group of participants,” said Manager of Caddie Scholarship Funds, Jackie Kielty. The Friends of the Fund is the perfect blend of making new relationships in the golf community while simultaneously fostering relations with the many supporters and advocates of the fund.”
Golfers competed in a net and gross competition. The winners of the net were Joe Pica and Tommy Anderson at 5-under, while Bill Collins and Matt Rawitzer took home the gross competition.
Collins also won closest to the pin on the par-3 eighth. Tony Bancroft and Katie Durkin took home the long drive honors.
The Friends of the Fund returns to Hudson National in 2024.
The Friends of the Fund event is designed to celebrate old friends of the CSF while also making new ones.
