On Monday, October 7, more than 120 golfers participated in the one-shotgun invitational golf outing held at The Country Club of Darien in support of The Christopher C. Hickey Scholarship with the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund.  This event has loyal participants—many of them friends, family and coworkers of the organizers and loyal sponsors and donors.  Among the sponsors at this year’s event was SwingAI, a golf analytics company that produces the swing index.

The low gross winners—for the second year in a row—with a score of 61 were Tom Richardson, Pat Mullin, Casey Kilkullen, and Mark Thompson.  This team will retain the coveted invitational putter trophy that remains on display in the Darien clubhouse.

Current CSF Director, Greg Hickey, christened this event four years ago, in memory of his twin brother Christopher, shortly after he passed away suddenly.  The brother grew up caddieing at nearby Woodway Country Club where they developed a passion for golf and appreciation for a caddie scholarship.

The current recipients of the Christopher C. Hickey Scholarship, listed below, are receiving $54,000 in scholarship aid from the CCH Fund for the 2019-20 academic year.
